Cutting diamond wire is made up of a stainless steel cable that closes in a ring on which pearls of stainless steel are inserted in regular gaps soaked in industrial diamonds. This wire is wrapped around the structure that has to be cut and activated at high speed. This movement, combined with the rotation of the wire and with the pressure put on the wire, produces a cut across the concrete and the metal framework. The main advantage, in comparison to the more known diamond-disc, is that there are no limits in thickness with this technique; it adapts itself furthermore to more diverse demands, it is indicated for reinforced concrete and it does not cause noise or vibrations.
The cutting with the diamond-disc is a quick and precise demolition-system. Furthermore, a perfect cut as made by a surgeon that is perfectly positioned, aside from giving certain guarantees on the quality of the final result, also allows to satisfy all needs with a considerably fair cost of realisation, and it allows to hold down the dust by appropriate water-systems. There are also no vibrations that could damage the structure and it allows to be quick.
The drilling machines exploit the hardness of the diamond to make a hole in concrete that is also reinforced and of great thickness. They do not transmit vibrations; they allow to make holes of any diameter with precision and allow to operate in every kind of working situation, starting from civil housing - where the inconveniences are minimal - to the more demanding situations because of environmental conditions or thickness of the object. There is furthermore a complete absence of damages to the structure and to the final useful surface that is perfectly smooth. |
